First Female to Win a Major-League Race
To the ambitious female athlete, racing was something she was beyond passionate about and loved so much. She was making quite a name for herself over the next few years, and working hard on becoming the best driver she could be.
And in 2008, all of her hard work and passion was finally paid off when she won her very first race at the 2008 Twin Ring Motegi Indy 300 race in Japan. Not just that, but again she broke the glass ceiling, and was the first female to take first place in a major-league open-wheel racing competition!
