A Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
Following the movie’s success, Lynda Carter was honored with one of the greatest gestures a Hollywood star could hope for: a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
On April 3, 2018, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce proudly honored Carter with the 2,632nd Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Dedicated in the category of Television, it’s located at 6562 Hollywood Boulevard, and was unveiled by the CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Leron Gubler, as well as by several guest speakers, including Patty Jenkins.
A Future Wonder Woman Appearance?
While Lynda Carter missed the opportunity to appear in the 2017 reboot of Wonder Woman, neither she nor Patty Jenkins have ruled out the option that she would return to the franchise in the second installment of the new Wonder Woman film series, Wonder Woman 2.
“I will back Patty on whatever decision she makes,” Carter said, showing solidarity to her newfound Wonder Woman friend.
So who knows? Lynda Carter may yet return to the world of Paradise Islands, the Amazons and Diana Price. But even if she doesn’t – she’s left her mark on that world – and continues to leave her mark today through her music.
