Staying Over
It was early 2012 when the couple began spending more time together. At this point, Ashton’s separation had not been finalized and Mila was newly single.
“It was the first time ever that I ever slept over at a guy’s house since becoming single,” Mila said via Insider. “He didn’t let me leave. At two in the morning, I was like ‘I’m going to call an Uber.’ And he was like, ‘You’re crazy’ and I was like, “BYE.” When I was single, I was so adamant about never staying at a guy’s house, that I was like peacing out.”
She added: “And he was like, ‘You’re not leaving.’ And that was the first time I didn’t.”
Things Get Serious
Of course, if you have seen any rom com ever, you’ll know that these scenarios usually shape up to have a happy ending. The couple begin by engaging in a casual “no strings attached” relationship only to later discover that they don’t actually want to spend any time with anyone else.
This is essentially what happened with Kutcher and Kunis. Their casual relationship led to feelings growing stronger and sooner or later, they became exclusive. There was one event which would truly bring the couple together though.
