Highest-Paid Actor
Dwayne Johnson went from being a C-list actor to Hollywood superstar over the course of only few years. He repeatedly made it to the list of highest-paid and highest-grossing movie stars, but this was never what motivated him to work hard.
“I just used the simple technique of making sure I’m always the hardest working person in the room. It doesn’t matter how much success my movies have, how many box office records they break, I will always be the hardest working person in the room,” The Rock told Esquire.
Trusting His Gut
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson went through many ups and downs as he switched from one career to the next, but he kept on fighting for what he wanted and believing in himself.
Even when everything went downhill, he knew he had to trust his instincts and believe they’ll guide him, as long as he worked hard and surrounded himself with right people.
“I’ve never gone wrong trusting my gut. It was really the only thing that I had going into acting. I didn’t have the background – Juilliard or performing-arts school or anything like that,” Johnson told Esquire.
