Fast Five opened many doors for Johnson and the sky was the limit after that. His dream to star in several franchises of different genres quickly came true, and he became Hollywood’s go-to guy whenever someone wanted to revive a series that was on the rocks.
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and G.I. Joe: Retaliation both earned over $300 million after Johnson agreed to come on board. He quickly turned from a washed-up wrestler to blockbuster superstar that the whole world wanted to see.
