Landing a Job
Before long, Banea realized he was actually quite good at what he was doing. The more he did it, the more he enjoyed seeing the fruits of his labor. But instead of finishing his internship, he decided to get his real estate license and pursue it as a career.
He celebrated his new job with an Instagram post dedicated to his firm, Aria Properties. “Looking forward to growing and learning from my amazing team @aria_properties…I’ll be primarily based in West LA and Silicon Beach,” the post reads.
And once he got the ball rolling on one new endeavor, he found an interest in other opportunities as well.
Starting a Podcast
Around the same time as discovering a knack for real estate, Baena and his friend and tech entrepreneur, Jaibir Nihal Singh, decided to start a podcast. After graduating college Baena wanted inspiration from others who had overcome adversity and jumpstarted their careers.
In an effort to ease the minds of recent graduates who felt just like Baena, the podcast Opposite Ends was created. The goal was to have people from different careers speak about what they do and learned along the way. Not only did the podcast inspire others, but Baena was also inspired by it. And soon, his dreams of acting started coming true.
