Bridget’s Thoughts
Bridget Moynahan had a hard time dealing with the heartbreak and the pregnancy over a short span of time, but the most difficult part of this experience was the public scrutiny. She was constantly followed by paparazzi, and the tabloids enjoyed making up stories about the tension between her and Bündchen.
“Being pregnant and having a baby are such personal, intimate moments,” she revealed in Our Shoes, Our Selves, an anthology of essays from various women. “I would have cars following me, and men hiding in the bushes outside my house.”

While the media focused on the relationship between Brady and Bündchen, Moynahan was dealing with her fair share of hard times.
In August 2007, she gave birth to son John Edward Thomas Moynahan but was immediately overwhelmed by the idea she’ll have to raise him as a single mom.
“Going through that traumatic time of being heartbroken and then being pregnant turned my whole life upside down and inside out and just knocked the wind out of me… But now I have a child, and it’s the best thing in the world,” Moynahan told Harper’s Bazaar.
