Her Guardian Angel
Nadya credits the change she has undergone to a man whom she dubbed a “guardian angel,” who helped her find herself again.
One night, while she was still in the throes of her “Octomom” persona, she was at what she called a “seedy nightclub,” when suddenly, a very tall man entered the room.
“He walked straight to me and looked straight into my eyes,” Nadya recollected. “He took my hand and grabbed my arm and said in a very gentle, but firm way: ‘You don’t have to do this.’ He repeated it five times.” Nadya felt the tears streaming down her face, and it was then that she realized something had to change. “I knew I had to be my healthy self again.”
Taking a Look Back
Since Nadya has turned her life around back in 2013, it seems as if she’s awoken from a dream.
Her decision making, including her choice to implant so many embryos at once in her womb, seems unreasonable to her today, and she even went as far as saying that it was “foolish, immature and selfish” of her to have brought so many children into the world without the means to support them financially.
That being said, she doesn’t regret her choice, and loves her family very much!
Today, Nadya is focused on raising her kids, and on instilling strong values in them.
