As you can imagine, Simpson and Whitley must have been utterly devastated by the death of their little baby girl. Even though they were now separated, their love for their daughter remained a uniting factor, and the grief they felt was incredible.
However, as time went on, Simpson settled more and more into his new home, and found comfort in his life with Brown.This new relationship seemed to be a happy ending for him, when the two of them married in February 1985.
