Closure
Now the Farris family could finally hold a funeral for Janet and grieve, knowing that she is at peace. After such a long time of not knowing, they were relieved to have the answers they’d long been searching for.
“Given a sad situation, it’s the best of all outcomes,” said George Farris in an interview with Today. The most important thing for the family now was being able to remember happy times with Janet and lay her to rest.
Feeling Thankful
Of course, the Farris family couldn’t have been more grateful to Max and the rest of the Werenka family and they thanked the resourceful teen for his excellent detective work. Without him, they might never have been able to lay their beloved mother/grandmother to rest.
Janet Farris’ granddaughter Erin Farris-Hartley was among those expressing their gratitude. “My dad and my uncle and our whole family are so thankful to him,” she told Global News.
