U/newicca: “My Papa was a safe cracker in the 30’s/40’s (I’m not exactly sure when) and at one point had a cop help him and his friends load a stolen safe into a stolen ice cream truck. My Papa had also spent 19 years in jail. I always assumed it was because of the safe cracking, but nope!
He was ‘leaving’ the millitary during WWII in the middle of the night, broke into a lady’s garage to steal a car, lady caught him and he shot and killed her. He changed his life around during his time in jail, eventually marrying my Nana.”
