U/lakenn: “my grandma and i are very close. She told me that her sister (my great aunt) is getting pretty sick. She is having problems with her kidneys and it affects the mind. My aunt and grandma took her to the doctor, and then to get some medications that were about $7. Her card declined.
She hadn’t been checking her accounts, and after calling the bank found out they were drained of over $10k in checking and overdrawn. They called her daughter and grand daughter and they admitted to taking the money from her account. My great aunt has been paying their rent for 3 years and has gave them 2 vehicles. She pays the insurance on them both. She is cutting them off and the latest update on her health is positive.”
