Because of Bill and Jennifer’s dwarfism, getting pregnant held certain risks that taller people usually don’t have to deal with. Following a series of medical tests, the couple realized that getting pregnant is too much of a risk. Instead, the couple decided to pursue the route of international adoption.
Opting to adopt children with dwarfism, who have a lower chance of getting adopted due to stigma and lack of awareness by most people, they decided to have a boy and a girl. Their son, Will, was adopted from China, and their daughter, Zoey, from India.
