The Roloffs are obviously strong people, who had to deal with a lot of heartbreak, while always staying optimistic. But one such heartbreak actually happened before they ever appeared on screen, and it was something that was impossible to shake off.
Because apparently, Matt Roloff lost his younger brother Josh at a very young age. “Two years after me came Joshua, and again, Mom and Dad faced more childbirth trauma, because Josh was born with a severe heart and lung defect, which would ultimately take his life,” he revealed in his 2007 book, Little People, Big Values.
