Sharing Her Story
Olsson wanted to share this story with everyone she could. To her, the girl represented a bigger issue—the importance of mental health.
She shared a post to Facebook, explaining the situation and wrote, “At the end of the day I want this to be a lesson to people. MENTAL HEALTH is a thing, it effects people all around the world and of all ages!”
She was able to use this story to bring awareness and expose the ways that depression can manifest in a person. But that wasn’t all that she had to say.
