More Than Décor
The window shades beside the mirror were a nice touch, but they also served an important purpose. It can be super fun to watch yourself transform into a different version right in front of your eyes, but not everyone wants to see what they look like during their makeovers, so having the window shutters gave Salva the opportunity to surprise his clients by keeping them closed if that’s what they wanted.
They were what covered the mirror if a client didn’t want to see themselves during the haircut and then opened up for the finale.
