A new beginning
After investigations from family services were conducted, it was decided that Scheffan and his wife were to be both immediately suspended from their jobs as firefighters at Middletown Township Fire Department.
They were officially put on administrative leave. Kelsey was not too see her father again, instead, she resided permanently with her mother. Kelsey chose herself to never see her dad again. Christin now had full custody of her daughter.
