Despite only intending to share the event to friends and family, the post soon went viral. It gained over 40,000 reactions, and more than 25,000 people shared it to the massively disapproving public.
Christin and Kelsey never anticipated for their story to acquire such widespread interest, but they were pleased to know that the vast majority of reactions were in massive favor to their side of the story. People were disgusted by Schaffen’s actions, and rightly so.
