Gwen Stefani, a coach on Season 26 of The Voice, debuted a striking new hairstyle during the Battles round. She is now sporting sunny California blonde hair with dramatic front bangs, and she looks stunning.
Fans are curious about what inspired this fresh look. Perhaps time spent on Blake Shelton’s Oklahoma farm encouraged Stefani to transition from her usual icy platinum hair to a warmer hue. It could also be that her new hairstyle complements her Battles outfit, which features a sleeveless dress adorned with a yellow floral pattern. Or maybe she simply wanted a change.
The bright new hairstyle may also inspire her Team Gwen artists to shine on stage. The Battles round marks the first opportunity to see how her team performs. During this stage, each coach pairs two artists for an elimination duet. At the end of the performance, one artist will advance while the other could be sent home—unless another coach uses their Steal opportunity to recruit the eliminated artist for their own team.
Stefani has considerable experience in this competitive environment. She reflected on her time on the show, crediting veteran coaches like Adam Levine for shaping her approach. “Man, I learned from the best,” she remarked, as Levine returns to The Voice in Season 27. “It’s funny because it’s just so different from what we’re used to. But then you get to be in this other position of being a coach, where you get to look back at your career and think, ‘Gosh, how did I do that? Let me share that with them because maybe I can help them do it too.’ So it is just super fulfilling…and weird.”
Now, Stefani serves as a role model for other coaches. New coach Snoop Dogg noted his strategy during his initial days on the show: “My strategy was to look, listen, and learn.” As the most experienced coach on the panel, Stefani offers valuable insights for all the rookies.
