Copenhagen-based haircare company Scandinavian Biolabs (SBL) has successfully raised €4 million in a funding round led by Auréa Group, with participation from existing investor Blazar Capital. This investment is a significant step in the company’s expansion efforts across Europe.
Established in 2020, Scandinavian Biolabs has become a prominent player in the haircare industry, focusing on science-based, non-invasive, and preventative solutions for early-stage hair loss. The company’s leading product, Bio-Pilixin® Activation Serum, has been clinically tested and has made a significant impact in the market.
Initially launching as a direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand, Scandinavian Biolabs quickly amassed a loyal customer base through its online platform. The company has since expanded into retail, partnering with various pharmacies in multiple regions.

The company also plans to enter the US market, scale its online business, and expand its retail presence, particularly in pharmacies.
