In the video posted on Sunday, Beyoncé is seen sitting in a salon chair. She captions the post, “It’s a Cécred Sunday and my hair needed a little TLC.”
The Grammy Award-winning singer begins by addressing her viewers: “Hey y’all, it’s my Cécred Sunday wash day.” She then demonstrates her complete Cécred hair care routine, starting with a scalp scrub applied in sections. Throughout the video, Beyoncé explains the various products and techniques used on her natural hair. After a thorough wash, she styles her hair into a bun using minimal products and offers candid commentary on the process.
She concludes the video with, “She ain’t perfect but she’s squeaky clean. Is she Cécred? Is she Cécred? I think she’s Cécred.”
Beyoncé first showcased her natural hair and wash day routine in April. Her Cécred hair care line, launched in February, was announced on Instagram last May. In her post, Beyoncé reflected on the influence of growing up in her mother’s hair salon, saying, “I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy.”
