Television presenter Christine Lampard, 45, thrilled her followers by sharing a rare photo of her two young children. Married to football star Frank Lampard, 46, since 2015, the couple shares a five-year-old daughter, Patricia, and a two-year-old son, Freddie. Christine is also stepmother to Frank’s two teenage daughters from a previous relationship.
On Wednesday, the Loose Women host took to social media, posting a heartwarming image of her children enjoying time in nature. In the photo, Freddie wore a green t-shirt, while Patricia, with her long, curly hair flowing down her back, ran after him in a matching green dress. The siblings were pictured in a serene outdoor setting, surrounded by towering trees and lush, green fields.
Christine captioned the post simply, writing: “All the greens,” alongside clover and leaf emojis. Fans were quick to comment on how much the children had grown, with many noting how tall they were becoming and how fast they were maturing. Christine and Frank, who are known for keeping their family life private, have occasionally offered glimpses into their lives as parents.
Last year, Christine opened up about motherhood in an interview with Women & Home, expressing how rewarding, yet exhausting, it can be. “Life is always busy, but we all manage somehow, don’t we? Mine is ‘two children busy’. Freddie has just turned two, so he’s a whirlwind. The two of them are funny and wonderful and exhausting. I think they’ve zapped every bit of energy from me, but it’s worth it,” she shared.
In another interview with The Sun, Christine shared her mixed emotions about Patricia starting school, admitting she found it difficult. “Obviously, everyone has to go to school, but I just keep thinking: ‘Oh no, I really miss her.’ She’s still just a wee baby in my head, and then suddenly you’re packing them off, and I’m that mum crying at the school gates!” she confessed.
Christine is also stepmother to Frank’s daughters, Luna, 18, and Isla, 16, from his previous relationship with Elen Rivas. Reflecting on their close bond, she shared her amazement at Luna turning 18 last year. “She was the age my little girl is now when I first met her. I would always joke, ‘I can’t wait until you are 18 – I will take you out for drinks, I can be your wing woman…’ And now it’s here! I can’t believe it,” she told The Sun.
Christine has previously spoken about the joy of being part of a blended family. In an interview with Women & Home, she reflected on her evolving relationship with Luna and Isla. “Being part of a blended family is lovely. I don’t remember life before it now. When I first met Isla and Luna, they were two and four – now they’re 16 and almost 18 and have just taken their GCSEs and A levels. They’ll call us and say, ‘We’re coming around tonight,’ jump on the train, and come over.”
Christine and Frank’s blended family continues to be a source of joy for them, and while they maintain a relatively private life, moments like this provide a rare, cherished glimpse into their family life.
