Mamaearth Launches Kerala-Inspired Hair Care Line

by Barbara

Mamaearth has introduced its new Kerala Thaali Hair Care Range, inspired by Kerala’s rich cultural heritage and natural ingredients. The product line features elements such as hibiscus, shikakai, and amla. This launch represents a strategic shift for Mamaearth towards regional product innovation, focusing on specific markets instead of a broad nationwide strategy.

As of 10:35 a.m. today, shares of Honasa Consumer Ltd were trading at ₹469.30, down ₹2.90 or 0.61 percent on the BSE.

The new hair care range will be available nationwide through online platforms. Mamaearth has also partnered exclusively with Reliance Retail for the “Mini Five Star” project, ensuring the products are stocked in all Reliance Retail Hyper stores across Kerala and neighboring southern cities with high consumer demand.

Ghazal Alagh, Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Honasa Consumer Ltd, highlighted the significance of celebrating India’s diverse heritage through their products. She noted, “This launch is not just about a product; it’s about celebrating the diversity of our country and the richness it brings to our lives.”

To boost brand visibility and engage consumers, Mamaearth plans offline activations in Reliance Retail stores, including in-store demonstrations, promotions, and experiences designed to showcase the range’s benefits.
