Production for “Poolman” began in June 2022, explaining Pine’s distinctive look during that period. However, even after the film’s shoot concluded, Pine retained the longer hair and beard, albeit with a bit more grooming.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Pine humorously attributed his shaggier appearance to “equal parts laziness and equal parts something I may do in the future here.”
