Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro was born on February 5, 1985 Madeira, Portugal to Maria Dolores dos Santos Viveiros da Aveiro and José Dinis Aveiro. The fourth and youngest child, he has an older brother, Hugo, and two sisters, Elma and Liliana Cátia “Katia”.
The family dealt with poverty and his father was an alcoholic. And so, Ronaldo’s mother in fact wanted to abort him, but the doctors refused to perform the procedure.
